The Lucky 13s
Powerful, soulful and uplifting, The Lucky 13’s originate from the South East of England. Formed in 2019 they set out to create and perform original music that was swamped in Soul and melds vintage Rhythm & Blues with modern day story telling.
The band features frontman Jamie Johnson’s compelling, gravelly and symphonious vocals over the melodic and exciting guitar work of award winning guitarist/composer Dudley Ross, energetic and catchy lines from The Lucky 13’s horn section and an an effortlessly deep pocket.
The Lucky 13’s draw inspiration from the musical roots of decades prior whilst sounding undeniably relevant today. They captivate audiences with brand new music to complement their vibrant and exciting live shows and solidify their reputation as one of the most engaging and exciting acts on the road today.
In March 2019 they released their four track EP ‘Breathe’ which was recorded live at Rimshot Studios and well received by fans and critics alike. Now signed to Hillside Global, The Lucky 13’s will be releasing a new album in 2021, which promises to be full of catchy, thought provoking and well crafted songs.
