To celebrate Adam signing with HiIlside Global, we're re-releasing “Unravelled”, the title track to his eponymous debut EP from 2016. For this release, “Unravelled” has been remixed and remastered by Thomas Atlas (Hybrid Sound Studios, Birmingham) and is accompanied by a magical new video recorded on location in Berga, Catalonia, by Coleccionistas de Momentos (Barcelona).

Adam wrote “Unravelled” in a hotel room in Whistler, Canada while watching international news outlets shine a light on the migratory crisis which resulted from the civil war in Syria. Those images which created a powerful sense of both moral injustice and impotence in the face of this humanitarian crisis, motivated Adam to pen the lyrics to this song.

A few years later Adam came across this quote from the Dalai Lama, which summed up perfectly the sentiment he was trying to capture with this song.

“In our quest for happiness and the avoidance of suffering, we are all fundamentally the same, and therefore equal.”
